Child Safety Standards & CSAE Policy

RNLinked is committed to fostering a community that feels like "HOME" for nurses around the world. We are dedicated to providing a safe, professional, and respectful digital environment. We maintain zero tolerance for any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or any content or behaviour that endangers minors.
This policy outlines our standards, safeguards, reporting mechanisms, and enforcement actions to prevent, detect, and respond to child safety risks on the RNLinked platform.
Scope and Applicability
This policy applies to:
- All RNLinked users
- All content posted, shared, uploaded, or transmitted on RNLinked
- All interactions, including posts, messages, comments, media, and profiles
RNLinked is primarily designed for adult professionals. Minors are not permitted to use the platform.
Age Restrictions
- RNLinked is strictly restricted to users aged 18 years or older.
- We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.
- Accounts suspected of being operated by minors are subject to immediate suspension and verification.
Definition of CSAE
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) includes, but is not limited to:
- Any sexual content involving a minor
- Sexualisation of a minor in text, images, audio, or video
- Nude or sexually suggestive depictions of minors
- Grooming behaviours or attempts to build sexualised relationships with minors
- Requests for sexual images, videos, or conversations involving minors
- Sharing, distributing, or linking to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
- Trafficking, exploitation, or coercion of minors
CSAE content is illegal and prohibited under all circumstances.
Prohibited Content and Behaviour
RNLinked strictly prohibits any behavior or content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Any form of CSAE or CSAM
- Sexual content involving individuals under 18
- Sexualised comments about minors
- Fictional, role-play, or AI-generated sexual content involving minors
- Attempts to groom, contact, or exploit minors
- Any attempt to build a relationship with a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation
- Encouraging, normalising, or justifying child exploitation
- Threatening a child to perform sexual acts or share sexual content.
- Any activity related to the trafficking of a child for sexual purposes
- Links or redirections to CSAE or CSAM content hosted elsewhere
There are no exceptions, including for fictional, artistic, educational, or illustrative purposes.
In-App Reporting Mechanism
To ensure the safety of our community, RN Linked provides a dedicated in-app mechanism for users to report concerns related to child safety:
- Users can report suspicious behavior or illegal content directly through our support channel or support email without leaving the app
- All reports are reviewed by our team to ensure compliance with our safety standards
- Automated detection of high-risk content and behaviour
- Manual review by trained moderation staff
- Immediate suspension of accounts suspected of CSAE involvement
- Permanent bans for confirmed violations
Legal Compliance
RNLinked operates in compliance with all relevant child safety laws and global norms. We work to keep our platform free of exploitation and will cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies to address child safety matters
Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM within our app—including in Capsule stories, interactive forums, or article feeds—RN Linked will take immediate action to remove the content and report it to the relevant authorities as required by law
Enforcement Actions
RNLinked will take immediate action when violations are identified, including:
- Content removal
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Law enforcement referral
- Platform-wide bans across RNLinked services
There is no appeal for confirmed CSAE violations.
